Genus Ancestral Research was established in 1997 to offer a genealogical and local history research service to clients with ancestors in Kent, or who wished to find out more about the history of their house, village, town or parish in the County. Since then the research service has expanded to cover the whole of the British Isles as well as overseas.
Margaret Lewis completed her genealogical qualifications at the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury after completing her degree. She possesses both the Part I and Part II Certificates in Genealogy, as well successfully completing the Record Agent Assessment.
In recent years the popularity of genealogy and the growth of the internet has resulted in an explosion of new material being made available. Margaret is constantly updating her knowledge and research methods in order to provide an up to date, knowledgeable service to all her clients.
